November 2016

November was quite an exciting month. It started off with Sophia turning 11 years old.  Where does the time go? She is growing so quickly. She is such a good kid.  We love her more each day. We started the day with a cupcake in bed. We gave her birthday gifts including the gift we bought her when we were in China. Mr. Twinkletoes enjoyed her cupcake too!  Who knew cats like frosting.

Sophia made cupcakes to bring to the day at the barn. She shared it with all her friends. 

A couple days after her birthday we took our family trip to Disney. We had such a blast. We visited Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Hollywood Studios and Universal. We love Magic Kingdom. It truly is the place where dreams come true. We also loved Harry Potter World in Universal. It was done so well we felt like we just stepped out of the book. Steve even got called up on stage to perform. It was a great vacation. We walked, on average nine miles each day. We can't wait to go back again.

It was an exhausting trip!

Sophia competed in her second dressage show. She did amazing. Angel coached her. She rode Keegan. She took first place in the Intro A test. She improved on her scores from the first time she took the test. It was a great day. Her buddies Ally, Natalie

and Ella came out to cheer her on.

Sophia went on a practice ride with her friends on black Friday. She really gets along well with the show team girls.  We also went to a banquet for the show series the team participated in this year. It was a lot of fun. 

We had a great Thanksgiving with Steve's mom, sister and nephew. The food was delicious and I managed to get everything cooked in our tiny kitchen. 

Our pets are all doing good. Here they are minus Boba.  I got to take more pictures of him so he doesn't think I don't like him.
