March was another fun filled month. Katie turned 14 on March 10th.
The weather started to warm up and we went on several adventures. On March 20th Sophia and I went to the zoo. We enjoyed the beautiful weather and seeing the animals. After a long day at the zoo we went to Sophia's dance class followed by her music class. A very busy day, indeed. Sophia got her costume for the recital in May. They tried them on and danced for the parents. Sophia did a great job. She is such a ham.
Baba, Sophia and I went to Jerusalem City on March 21. We brought Jimmy's Flat Stanley with us and all had fun.
Sophia and I went to Connecticut at the end of the month. Linda had a huge Easter egg hunt. Sophia loves spending time with Grandma and her cousins. This time was no exception. We went shopping with Grandma, colored and hid eggs, hunted for eggs and enjoyed each others company. Linda did a fantastic job with the hunt. I am glad we were able to take part in it. Regardless of the temperature when we visit Grandma Barb we take a few trips to the beach. I try to keep her out of the water on the really cold days but she often takes her shoes off and dips her feet, then her ankles and then her thighs... into the water. It is good to be young and carefree.
