September

Sophia started the month with the tradition of doing an all day horse show at her barn. This is an in-house horse show so it is low-key and lots of fun, but an all day event. Sophia planned to compete in her division and then do a pairs class with her friend Jade. Her division is pretty advanced so it happens at the end of the day. It was VERY hot so after waiting all day for her division her friend got overheated so they bowed out of the pairs class, which is the very last class of the day. We went to the pool to cool off that evening. We did not use the pool as much as we should have this summer, because we were so busy and it rained so much.

Sophia started 7th grade. She seems to like her teachers and schedule. She is in all GT classes and singing with the 8th grade chorus. 

Sophia loves riding at the new barn. She falls in love with almost every horse she rides there. She is jumping much higher than she did at the old barn. She loves the challenge.

The month ended with the long awaited Comic-a-con. She planned to go with her friend, Luisa. They planned a Link and Zelda duo. Steve took Sophia out of school and the two of them went on Friday. Then Nick and Natalie came down and they all went with Luisa on Sunday. It was a blast. I did not go but heard all about it. It was nice seeing Nick and Natalie too.

Our animals even had a good month!
