February 2021

This month was pretty uneventful. We had a LITTLE snow, surprise, surprise. I really miss big snow storms. We get the so rarely here. We just get these little storms which are more a nuisance than anything else.

I have been doing a lot of knitting. I really picked up my knitting game last March when Covid struck. Now it is all I want to do!!!

The beginning of a sweater for me

A shawl for me

Beginnings of a blanket

The animals are big helpers.

Sophia continues to ride and loves finding gear so she and her horse match.

She has begun school horses as part of her job at the barn by her house. She loves it.

We had to buy a new washer and dryer. We decided on stackable so we can make some extra room for storage in our laundry closet. Storage is so limited in our small townhouse so we make the most of every nook and cranny.

I continue to enjoy cooking. I love trying new recipes. We found several good ones this month.

I am really looking forward to a kitchen remodel. It is something I have been wishing for (and saving for) for years. We picked out the cabinets and counters. Can't wait until April!
Our animals are all doing well. The cats love sleeping with Sophia, especially Otto.

Boba is saying "What are you doing in my spot?"

Steve and I have received the two vaccines for Covid. Hoping things will soon return to a more normal state. For now we are limiting interactions just as we were before we were vaccinated.
